Sindhoi Patola Art: Gujarat Handloom Heritage Since 1989

Sindhoi Patola Art is a family-led handloom brand founded in Rajkot, Gujarat, in 1989 by master Patola weaver Bhalabhai Devjibhai Parmar. What began as a weaver’s commitment to preserve Patola craftsmanship has grown into a trusted destination for collectors, brides, families and textile lovers in India and around the world.

In 2010, Bhalabhai’s son Tarun Parmar joined the business and helped bring the family’s work online. Today, Sindhoi Patola Art connects traditional craftsmanship with modern shopping through its Rajkot and Ahmedabad stores, detailed online catalogues, WhatsApp video consultations and worldwide shipping.

What We Create

Our collections include Single Ikat Rajkot Patola and Double Ikat Patan Patola sarees, Patola dupattas, Bandhani sarees and dupattas from Gujarat and Kutch, Patola fabrics, dress materials, lehenga sets, shawls and craft-fusion textiles such as Patola × Bandhani and Patola × Ajrakh.

Every product page states the material, dimensions, weave or craft technique and care instructions relevant to that piece. Authentic GI-certified Patan Patola pieces are identified as such, while Single Ikat Rajkot Patola represents its own respected weaving tradition.

Craft, People and Purpose

Sindhoi Patola Art works with and supports approximately 50–60 artisan families. By presenting handcrafted textiles responsibly and taking them to a wider market, we aim to keep specialist weaving, tying, dyeing and finishing skills economically meaningful for the next generation.

Handmade textiles may show slight variations in colour, motif alignment or finish. These are not defects; they are part of the individual character of artisan-made work.
